Enjoy special chocolate tastings, see chocolates being made and discover the heritage behind Haigh's, Australia's oldest chocolate manufacturer.
Established in 1915, Haigh's is now in its fourth generation. The family-owned company has grown from the original Beehive Corner shop to a modern factory complex, making more than 250 products.
See heritage displays of original packaging, old machinery and early photographs throughout the visitor centre. Bulk packs, special lines and some chocolate seconds are also available. Special displays include Cooks Corner featuring a variety of gourmet products, including chocolate sauce and chocolate couveture with free recipes.
There's free coffee or tea available while you select from an extensive range of Haigh's factory fresh chocolates and confectionery including the famous chocolate frogs, truffles, fruit centres, fudges and bars.
Haigh's is also the home of the original chocolate Easter Bilby. Its support of environmental causes is demonstrated in a special display area. Haigh's Chocolates Visitors Centre is located at the factory in Parkside, five minutes drive from Adelaide city centre.
Factory Tours:
This world class facility combines excellent viewing and tour facilities along with heritage displays and a spacious retail area.
Free factory viewing tours of approx 20 minutes are available from Monday to Saturday at 11am,1pm and 2pm. Bookings are essential.

Learn how chocolate is made from raw cocoa beans carefully selected from plantations around the world. Enjoy the aroma of freshly roasted beans, watch truffles being hand-dipped then taste the award winning chocolate.
