Located 15 kilometres north of Nungarin and 24 kilometres south of Mukinbudin, just off the Nungarin-Mukinbudin Road, this old homestead set in ten hectares of natural flora was once the wayside stop en-route to the Yilgarn goldfields in the 1880's and has been restored to its original condition under the guidance of the National Trust.
The pioneer homestead of the Adams family, is a monument to the early settlers of the eastern district. This National Trust property is worth a tour. It is an historic spot having been noted as early as 1836 by surveyor General Roe when he explored east of York and north to Lake Brown. There are playgrounds with swings for children and barbecues and toilet facilities.
