This event, the fifth in a series of 'In The Loop' events, offers a free day out with something for everyone.
'Aussie Cars in the Loop III' (the third annual All Australian Car Day) is set in the main street and adjoining reserve of the heritage timber town of Yarloop.
Visitors can expect to view a huge display of classic Australian built cars (last years event attracted well over 300 cars).
They can stroll through a large, top quality craft and produce market, dine on a wide variety of good country fayre and be entertained by the variety show on the outdoor stage, complete with prizes and giveaways.
There will be a full range of children's entertainment including rides, games face painting and a bouncy castle.
Along side all of this, visitors will have the opportunity to taste the best of South West wine, cheese and produce, and look through the wide range of flowers, plants, bulbs, seeds and equipment in the Yarloop garden festival area.
Visitors who have a classic Australian built car can enter it into the display where it may pick up a prize. Just ring (08) 9733 4723 for further information.
Whilst in town one should take the time to visit the Steam Workshops Museum, the Yarloop Hoteland and walk the heritage trail.
Yarloop is situated on the South Western Highway less than one and a half hours from Perth, 45 minutes from Mandurah or Bunbury and within easy reach of most of the South West. The Australind Rail Service from Perth coincides with the event's hours, call Transwa on 1300 662 205 for bookings.
