It is Western Australia's event of the year for lovers of the human voice. All events take place in the centre of the village with two full days and three nights of concerts and workshops. This year we have everything from a huge 50-peice choral group to solo vocal artists. Invitations have gone out to choirs, singing groups and other voice related performers throughout the state.
After the spectacular success over the last two years, the festival is well entrenched as the event on the Denmark calender not to be missed. This year there will be 10 concerts and 15 workshops with 300 singers in 24 performing acts. The evenings will be full with concerts, culminating with people congregating after the events in Denmark's many restaurants and cafés.
The festival provides a welcome boost to local businesses when the town will throng with performers and audience at a time of the year when business is traditionally very quiet. Our town is an ideal location for such an event with such a collection of excellent venues centred around the recently renovated Civic Centre.
