The historic Old Post Office building, planned in 1866 and built in 1869, is a significant local landmark and tourist attraction, and is classified by the National Trust.
The building has been immaculately restored and reminds many of the old coaching days of England.
Today, the building houses the Albany branch of the University of Western Australia.
