Petticoat Lane is a major tourist event with over 200 market stalls. The main streets of Busselton are cleared of cars and the traffic comes to a stop as people converge from all areas to join in the fun of Petticoat Lane.
As the roads close, the stall holders quickly set-up their displays on the footpath with a massive variety of goods to cater to the delights of all. The majority of goods are made by the stall-holders themselves. The event attracts more than 7 000 tourists to browse through the multitude of goods and enjoy the festive atmosphere.
A brass band will play, square dancers will dance, and fire engines will give rides to the young and the young at heart. There will be fairy floss, ice-cream and food for all.
This will be the 32nd annual Petticoat Lane. Petticoat Lane forms part of the week-long Festival of Busselton.
