The Kedumba Drawing Award was first presented in 1990, and is now considered the premier event for drawing in Australia with a $20,000 acquisitive award for 24 invited artists.
The Kedumba Gallery displays the Kedumba Collection in the grounds of Blue Mountains Grammar School at Wentworth Falls.
Every year it is enhanced through works acquired from the Annual Kedumba Drawing Award and by donations and acquisitions approved by the Trustee.
The Gallery also exhibits part of the Kedumba Collection Monday to Friday from 11.00am to 4.00pm and at weekends by appointment. In November of every year, during the Kedumba Drawing Award, the gallery is open daily and admission is free.
The Kedumba Trust invites and welcomes friends, sponsors and benefactors to support the Kedumba Collection to grow and thus provide an important statement of the development of drawing through time.
