How to get to Astor Metropole Best Western Hotel

AIRTRAIN - A free one way ticket is available to all Astor Metropole guests! Simply present your confirmation document to the friendly staff at the Airtrain Kiosk at either the domestic or international terminal and they will give you your one-way ticket from the airport to central station. This is a great way to get to the Hotel if you don’t have too much luggage. Return Airtrain tickets are available from the Hotel front desk ($11 each).Coachtrans tickets are also available at $12 per person - please contact us directly res@astorhotel.com.au with your flight number and times if you would like us to book this transfer for you. Great if you have too much luggage to manage on your own - and it’s a door-to-door service.Taxi - $32 from the airport to Hotel.Driving - Use the Freeway (F1) and take the Turbot Street exit, left into Edward Street (at the turn left anytime exit at the 3rd set of traffic lights) and left again into Wickham Terrace (at the next set of lights).We are located just one block from Central Station (look for the Wickham Terrace exit) Being in the heart of Brisbane City you will find Queen Street Mall just 3 blocks (downhill!) from the Astor Metropole. We are short ten minute walk to Brisbane’s Treasury Casino, continue walking past the Casino and over Victoria Bridge and you will find yourself in South Bank Parklands.

Rates are per room are based on 1 or 2 people on a Queen bed unless otherwise specifically requested. A maximum of three (3) people per room with the additional charge of $25 per night for the extra guest to be paid direct to the Hotel on check-in. Children using a cot stay free. Children not in a cot are deemed to be an extra guest. Cots are provided free of charge. (Any additional charges are payable direct to the hotel)

Why not go for a walk, shop or sightsee - we are close to everything, South Bank, the Treasury Casino, Queen Street Mall, Queensland Museum, Roma Street Bus Transit Centre, Central Station, Roma Street Parklands, they are all within walking distance. Please ask the many ’locals’ for tour information to the Gold and Sunshine Coasts and of course for the hundreds of local attractions and places of interest.

Car Parking:

Secure covered parking is available subject to availability. Parking - $9/car per day fees payable on check-in. Parking is limited and not guaranteed. In addition to our car park, off street parking (metered 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday) is available nearby in Berry Street. Guests are invited to park on Wickham Terrace in the 2 min loading/set down area in front of hotel while checking in. Reception staff will direct you to the car park entrance after you have checked-in.

Guests are required to present photo ID and their personal credit card at check in to guarantee incidental charges and enable an electronic room key to be cut. Early check-in or late check-out is not guaranteed and is subject to availability. While we operate a 24 hour front desk, we do ask that you inform us if you intend to check in after 11pm.
