Opened in 1985 and continually upgraded, this property offers a range of accommodation; 22 Room Motel, Standard Villas, The Cottages, The Jacaranda and The Billabongs which were completed in September 2007. The Colonial Village offers every convenience for the holiday or business traveller. Conveniently located between the M1 and Hwy 3, handy to Brisbane Airport and easy access to the CBD. Our accommodation offer a combination of fit out; family units with kitchenettes, queen or twin rooms, all comfortably furnished and fully air conditioned. We also have 19 self-contained villas; some which accommodate up to 6 people. One villa has been especially built to cater for disabled visitors and is completely useable unassisted.
The Billabongs are our Luxury Spa Villas; with everything you could need for a relaxing get-away in the city. Make a weekend of it if you are coming for a show, or escape from the children for a couple of nights. There is also bedding if you wish to bring the children along too!
Our property has a large heated swimming pool, hot tub and BBQ set in pleasant surrounds. Located on the property is a Lanna Thai Restaurant which serves delicious food 7 nights a week. Continental breakfast is available to all Rooms and Villas. An Internet Kiosk is available in the Games Room, where you will also find a pool table and library. For the more energetic, a tennis court is located within the property along with a basketball hoop. For those without transport, the City train is just a short walk away. By train you can connect to the Gold and Sunshine Coasts, Australia Zoo or the hinterland. Taigum Centro shopping centre is 500m away and buses at the door connect to all over Brisbane. Nudgee College, Boondall Entertainment Centre and the Boondall Ice World Ice Rink are within a couple of kilometres. Also handy are Nudgee and Virginia Golf courses, whilst a driving range, The Big Easy, is just 500m along Beams Rd.

How to get to Colonial Village
Situated on a secondary road linking two major highways, the Colonial Village is so easy to find and use as a base.Travel to the city by air-conditioned train (Carseldine station just 800m from Colonial Village).
Convenient Shopping Centre only 400 metres away.
Gold Class Cinema Complex just 5 minutes away.
The Brisbane Entertainment Centre and Boondall Wetlands are nearby (just 3 kilometres).
Brisbane Airport and Airport DFO is only 12 minutes by road.
If travelling on the M1, take the Boondall Entertainment exit and proceed straight ahead in a westerly direction for 3 kms. If exiting Brisbane on Hwy 3, turn right into Beams Rd and travel in an easterly direction for 3kms. The property is 13 kms from the CBD. If approaching Brisbane from the north on Hwy 3, turn left into Beams Rd at the first set of traffic lights then travel 3 kms in an easterly direction. By train, get off at Carseldine Station and head 900 metres east on Beams Rd. Taxis also frequent our property; Black & White Taxi P. 131 008. If using a GPS to locate The Colonial Village; please use Beams Road, Zillmere (which is the other side of the road).
