Cradled in the high ranges above Mittagong 1 hour from Sydney, Bou-saada's family run vineyard offers cool climate wines from grapes grown only on the property. Use of local timbers dominate the environmentally sensitive, Australian contemporary design cellar, where a casual vintner's lunch can be enjoyed by the fire or overlooking the vineyard.

A variety of stunning proteas are also grown and for sale on the farm. Various exhibitions and musical events are held throughout the year.

Bou-Saada's Country Kitchen
Open for lunch Friday, Saturday and Sundays. Smoked herbed and peppered sirloin with brandied smoked chicken or Poacher's Ham served on Italian bread with local cheese, olives, mushrooms, smoked tomato and dolmades makes up Michele's special Vintner's Lunch. Also available throughout the weekend is a platter of local cheeses and in winter a hearty soup or cassoulet with crunchy bread. All priced under $15, enjoy this simple and delicious lunch with your favourite Bou-saada wine in a relaxed convivial atmosphere. A truly unique Southern Highlands food and wine experience.

Bou-Saada Verjuice
Made from the juice of unripe grapes, verjuice is a soft well-rounded replacement for white wine vinegar. It can be used in salad dressings, to deglaze pans or in mayonnaise. Verjuice adds a delicious flavour to fresh ingredients such as poached fruit, seafood, poultry and mushrooms. It's the perfect ingredient for any pantry.

Bou-saada Vineyard & Wines now open for lunch Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday & Monday. Local food and estate grown wine menu includes Poachers Platters and Smoked Barramundi Platters, Cutaway Raspberry Tarts, Tea & Coffee.
