The Mill, built in 1861 (of local granite)as a flour mill closed it's doors in 1905 and remained dormant until 1996. The building is the oldest in Cowra, by 22 years.
The O'Dea family started renovating in January 1996 and opened as a Winery and Restaurant in October 1996. Wines for tasting and for sale from the O'Dea family vineyard, Windowrie Estate Wines under the Windowrie and The Mill Labels. The cellar door is located on ground level,the Restaurantis located on the first level and the top level.
