Stretching over 15,000 hectares, these parks boast outstanding scenery: massive parabolic sand dunes (the oldest reaching more than five kilometres inland), rugged granite pinnacles, and remote coastal camping opportunities. They support many rare and endangered plants and animals and are the traditional home of the Darumbal Aboriginal people.
These parks will delight birdwatchers. Sandy Point is part of an internationally recognised wetland and breeding site for migratory shorebirds. Endangered little terns roost on coastal sands. Walking tracks range from easy to difficult. Go fishing. Enjoy camping at one of three camping areas.
