Mount Horrocks Wines is operated by owner/winemaker Stephanie Toole.
Producing 4,500 cases a year Mount Horrocks is a boutique winery which creates high quality award winning wines from estate grown fruit. Stephanie carefully hand crafts her wines, which she describes as essentially "handmade food wines".
There are six wine varieties produced under the Mount Horrocks Wines label including Riesling, Semillon, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz and the Cordon Cut Riesling which was served to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth the second at her 80th birthday. For the second year running James Halliday awarded Mount Horrocks a five star rating in his 2008 Australian Wine Companion and Stephanie was nominated as one of the eight finalists for our country's most prestigious winemaking award: 2007 Gourmet Traveller Australian Winemaker of the Year.
You can visit Mount Horrocks Cellar Door and Cafe and the Old Railway Station in Auburn. Come and taste our award winning wines and sample the delicious food at "The Station Cafe" operated by leading local chef Andrea Mitchell. The cellar door and cafe is located in Curling Street Auburn and is open Saturday, Sunday and public holidays from 10am to 5pm.
