Bakers Hill, WA Australia
| Address | Bakers Hill Western Australia, Australia |
Bakers Hill is a small town located about an hours drive east of Perth on the Great Eastern Highway.
The nearby Avon Valley National Park's mix of jarrah, marri and wandoo trees provides a home to more than 90 species of birds and a variety of plant life. The park is best seen in autumn or spring.
Cure your hunger at the Baker's Hill Pie Shop, a favourite of the truck drivers passing by. There's plenty of meat and vegetable fillings to choose from, or appease your sweet tooth with a vanilla slice. Eat in or perhaps take away your food and have a picnic surrounded by wildflowers (when in season) on nearby Bobbokine Hill.
Camping grounds are available in the National Park, with bed and breakfast and farm stay accommodation available in the town.
