The Follett family vineyard was established in the 1880's by Arthur John Follett, great grandfather of winemaker, Greg Follett. Cellar door facilities overlooking the vineyard, were opened March 1991, and a new winery complex was built in time for the 1998 vintage, with a crushing capacity of 300 tonne.
Lake Breeze Wines have developed a reputation for consistently producing concentrated red wines with an abundance of fruit character and trademark soft tannins.
Lake Breeze has experienced outstanding success in Australian wine shows since 1994, the red wines alone have received a remarkable 18 trophies and 54 gold medals, including 'Best Dry Red' of the 2006 Adelaide Wine Show, with the 2004 Bernoota.
