You can try bait fishing and private secluded fly-fishing at this spring-fed trout farm in the picturesque glacier-formed valley of Tooperang, south of Mount Compass on the Fleurieu Peninsula.
The farm is a great attraction for young and old and offers you a peaceful and relaxing time in a superb country setting. See the trout in all their stages of development, have a picnic in a delightful setting, barbecue a trout or try a delicious smoked trout ready to eat.
It's open on Saturday, Sunday and all public holidays and by appointment only Monday to Friday. It's great fun for all the family. See trout – from whoppers to small fry – and there's also trout and honey sales, farm produce, country style Devonshire teas and light refreshments.
All the trout sold in the shop are reared naturally in the farm's spring-fed ponds, which are gravity fed, no recycling of water, which guarantees a pure and excellent tasting product. Trout for stocking farm dams are available all year round.
Closed during the month of May.
