The Royal Bank of Queensland opened its Maryborough branch in 1888 in this Kent Street building know as Windsor House. In 1922 the royal bank of Queensland merged with the Queensland National Bank. The building features the Baroque revival style with broken curved pediments atop the facade and above the entrance.
