Diamond Sands Holiday Resort is a four star, three storey, walk up, holiday resort. Located at Mermaid Beach, it is approximately 3.5 kms south of Surfers Paradise and is on the main Gold Coast bus route, with ready access to transport to Dreamworld, Movieworld, Wet and Wild and Seaworld theme parks. Watch the world go by from your self appointed private apartment, fully self contained with full kitchen and laundry facilities, and enjoy our lush tropical landscape with palm trees, and our large lagoon pool heated from April to October, with sandy beach and childrens paddling pool. Relax in our in-pool spa and enjoy a barbeque with the family, or merely laze and unwind around the pool. Many restaurants within walking distance, and handy to the main thriving Broadbeach shopping precinct with its cosmopolitan restaurants. A hop, step, and jump from Jupiters Casino and the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre.

The tariff is set on each apartment. A two bedroom apartment has a queen bed and two single beds, sleeps four, and a three bedroom apartment has a queen bed and four single beds, sleeps six. An extra rollaway bed can be placed in each apartment at an additional nightly rate.


How to get to Diamond Sands Holiday Resort
2320 Gold Coast Highway, Mermaid Beach, From Coolangatta Airport - turn left onto the main Highway and head approximately 19 kms north (past Tugun, Palm Beach, Burleigh, Miami and Nobby Beach.) On the left hand side of the Gold Coast Highway - 200 metres north of Surf Street.
From Brisbane Airport, Take the motorway south to the Gold Coast, and turn off at Exit 71 taking the Nerang to Broadbeach Road. Follow this to the end (14 or 15 kms) joining onto Hooker Boulevard. Follow Hooker Boulevard to the end, past Dracula's and Pacific Fair shopping Centre, and turn right onto the Gold Coast Highway. Follow for approximaately 2.5kms, past the traffic light controlled T intersection with Markeri Street. Do a U turn at the next set of traffic lights (Surf Street) and Diamond Sands is approximately 200 metres north.

Out and About
Close to all the Gold Coast attractions, Dreamworld, Seaworld, Wet and Wild and Movieworld. A little over 2 kms to Pacific Fair shopping centre, the largest shopping centre on the Gold Coast, and Jupiters Casino and the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre. 250 metres to Mermaid Beach. Very handy to all activities on the Gold Coast.

The majority of apartments have underground car parking behind locked entry gates, and a smaller number of apartments have their own garage. One car parking space is provided per apartment.

For arrivals outside our reception hours of Monday to Friday 8am to 5.30pm, Saturdays 8.30am to 3pm, and Sundays 9am to noon, check in is available by ringing our after hours operator from a phone which is located on the the wall outside reception.
