Springbrook Mountain Lodge,

Springbrook
Springbrook, a low-key mountain community in the Gold Coast hinterland, has a number of well signposted National Park walks to waterfalls, rainforests and lookouts. It is a more compact and accessible version of Lamington National Park further to the west in the same McPherson Range.
Springbrook Mountain Lodge and Rainforest Cabins has something to suit everyone, with two self-contained styles and tariffs to suit all budgets. Being less than an hour’s drive to the beaches and other attractions of the Gold Coast, Springbrook is a cool alternative base for your holiday. The Lodge and Cabins are set within the rainforest at the highest point of the mountain with expansive views across the foothillls and valleys to the coast. The rainforest on the property is unique, ranging from Cool Temperate to Sub Tropical with abundant native fauna and flora right outside, much of it rare and endangered. The owners are long-time residents with a wealth of knowledge on both the natural environment and pioneer history of the area. The Lodge has communal living areas and five ensuite bedrooms available for individual bookings or for groups of up to 18 with exclusive use. There is also a separate cabin for families and the Rainforest Cabins are popular with couples wanting to escape the pressures of the city for a short break on the spur-of-the-moment. All have woodburning fires.
