The multi-award winning Catch-A-Crab and Oyster Farm tour is one of the highlights for visitors, combining loads of fun activities with spectacular scenery and a fantastic seafood lunch. Enjoying trapping for crabs, fishing or sit back and enjoy the scenery. The highlight of the day is dining on the sought after seafood delicacy of freshly caught mudcrab, which is cooked on board and served alfresco for lunch.
The cruise now departs from the new attraction, Birds Bay Oyster Farm, on-shore and adjacent to the private oyster leases. The new facility includes The Oyster Bar, Pearl and Oyster Farming Displays, retail outlet with pearls, oysters, souvenirs and regional produce such as locally-grown tea, coffee, other gourmet goodies and natural body products.
