Western Range Wines is located in the picturesque Lower Chittering Valley less than one hours drive from Perth. Originally created by eight local growers, Western Range now draws from 10 vineyards in the Perth Hills wine region.
Western Range Wines produces a range of truly unique wines, which are marketed in Australia and the United States of America under the labels, Lot 88, Goyamin Pool, and Julimar. Western Range Wines are also available in the United Kingdom under the Booarra label.
Along with producing many of the classic varieties such as Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay and Chenin Blanc Western Range Wines also produces a number of rare and unusual varieties including; Viognier, Carnelian, Malbec, Grenache and Tempranillo.
Western Range Wines is also accredited by NASAA / IFOAM to produce organic wines and the award winning 2002 Organic Shiraz is the first of a growing organic range.
The cellar door at Western Range Wines is open to the public for tastings and sales from 1000 to 1700 Wednesday to Sunday. Cheese boards, dipping platters and picnic hampers are available and may be enjoyed under the covered patio or on the grassed picnic area with views over vines and the valley.
