Beach Art aims to encourage and promote established and emerging artists resident and/or working in the Illawarra region. We offer for purchase original art works in all media and all styles.
To all our customers, both residents of the Illawarra community and visitors to this delightful part of the world, we offer:
Professional and personalised framing of paintings, photographs, 3D objects etc. Consultancy – visits to your home or business can be arranged to: reframe as required; advise on suitable artworks;
organise framing as required; advise on hanging; personal hanging service; provision of artworks on approval (conditions apply); and rental of selected artworks (conditions apply).
A gallery of art works in a variety of media by local Illawarra artists paintings, drawings, artist’s limited edition prints, mixed media, sculpture, ceramics and textiles. Beautiful art gifts by local Illawarra craftspersons, sculptors and potters. BEACH ART COFFEE, a twenty seat coffee shop serving a variety of espresso coffees, teas (regular and herbal) and other beverages. Light lunches and snacks are also available as well as our popular all-day brunch. Art tutition in a variety of media, suitable for beginners through to experienced artists. Classes are run in conjunction with school terms, with a variety of taster courses and workshops offered during school holidays. Art supplies for beginning, student and experienced artists. Other services we offer include: the commissioning of art works negotiated with gallery artists; gift wrapping; home pick up and delivery (conditions apply); and shipment to most destinations in Australia or overseas at market rates. Located in Thirroul, in the glorious northern beach suburbs of Wollongong, NSW. We are between the escarpment and the sea, just an hour’s drive south of Sydney.
