The spirit of 'Flight' in all possibilities will be the theme of "Viva la Gong 2008 Festival" this year. The theme honours our local heritage of early aviation and will be held over four days!
Venues this year will include McCabe Park with a Big Top Tent, lower Crown Street and Civic Plaza for a Street Festival. The Wollongong Botanical Gardens will hold a Sunday Picnic Prom, IPAC and Wollongong City Gallery as well as various community venues and Galleries will have Exhibitions and Concerts held throughout the four days.
There will also be creative activities of fun for children and families, Outdoor Concerts and arrange of Markets will also take part in the great Festival Event!
