Located in Gregory National Park, 15 kilometres north-west of Timber Creek, a large Boab tree stands at the campsite of Augustus Gregory's 1885 North Australian expedition. Gregory's Tree has special significance to the Ngarinman Aboriginal people and is a registered sacred site. Interpretive signs, including sound recordings about the expedition, are located around the boardwalk at the tree.
