Kingston Christmas Pageant and Family Fun Day 2005
The Kingston Christmas Pageant has 24 categories of floats available for entry including best out of town entry, community entry, school, fisheries, shearers, winery entry, bike, car, Ute, wheelbarrow, gopher, dog, clown, scarecrow, pipe bands, business floats, Christmas entries and of course father Christmas.
The pageant concludes in The Lion Park (near the jetty). All the floats will be lined up in the park.
There will be entertainment for the children with performances, activities. face painting, go-karts, air castle, side shows, show bags, lucky dips, lobster trail – children buy a calico bag and progress along the lobster trail provided by local businesses collecting goods and vouchers. Catering stalls will be set up along with various arts and craft stalls.
