Whitehaven Beach, located on the uninhabited, Whitsunday Island which is the largest of the 74 islands in the Whitsunday Group.
Stretching over seven kilometres, the pristine Whitehaven Beach is one of the jewels of the Whitsundays. Sink your feet into the brilliant white of the soft silica sands and the crystal clear waters that ebb against the shore.
At the northern end of Whitehaven Beach is the natural wonder of Hill Inlet. The sweeping white sands and the aqua waters of the Inlet are a most breathtaking site. Several crewed charter companies in the area will escort you ashore Whitsunday Island to experience the short walk to the stunning lookout.
Whitehaven Beach can be experienced by jumping aboard an ultra-fast, ultra-modern Ferry or a cruising yacht for an unforgettable day trip.
