The Wintermoon Festival is a four day music extravaganza, held over the long weekend commencing the April 28. It promises a unique experience in the beautiful setting of Camerons Pocket, nestled in the foothills of Eungella National Park 70 kilometres north of Mackay. Camp by the creek or on the festival site itself. Enjoy a swim in the clear waters of St Helens Creek. Ample hot showers and clean amenities promise a comfortable stay.
Performers from all parts of Australia and our own talented locals present a wonderful program of music, dancing, song and verse providing something for everyone.
Workshops, kids activities, market stalls, bush dances will be part of the weekend entertainment. Join in, or just relax back on a hay bale and sample some of the delicious food available from the moonshine cafe while listening to an Australian yarn or a song from some of the talented artists performing on stage.
A bar to support the local Calen ambulance will serve Guinness and Cider and other favourite beverages. Early bird tickets on sale at the Mackay Entertainment Centre from Monday, 2 January to Sunday, 16 April 2006. Limited tickets available.
