Access to the Central Business District is only a leisurely ten minute stroll through the picturesque Fitzroy Gardens or simply take the tram or train (Jolimont Station) located one hundred metres away for direct access to the Crown Casino, Victorian Arts Centre, Melbourne Exhibition Centre, Colonial Stadium, Melbourne Aquarium, Melbourne Shopping District and many other interesting attractions.

    A number of Major Hospitals that include St. Vincents, Clivedon, Epworth, Freemasons, Mercy and The Victorian Eye & Ear, are also all within convenient walking distance from the George Powlett Motel/Apartments.
