The 40 accommodation rooms are of deluxe standard made up of studio rooms, one and two bedroom suites each decorated in a contemporary oriental theme.
All suites and studio rooms have French sliding doors onto a furnished balcony.
Each suite has either king or twin beds, and bathrooms feature power showers and separate baths - some with spa baths. Studio rooms have ensuite bathrooms with shower over the bath. All one and two bedroom suites feature a full kitchen.
Each floor has its own ’mini art gallery’ where guests may lounge in front of the open fireplace and evaluate the original artwork of local French artist Thierry B.
Bistro Lyall offers light dining all day long. Enjoy a glass of champagne in the Champagne Bar in the evening.
The Lyall Spa is located within the hotel and is a full facility day spa where therapists will focus on each guest’s individual requirements to induce relaxation, relieve stress, rejuvenate and pamper.
The Lyall Gym has ’Life Fitness’ equipment with TVs for individual entertainment while working out. Guests may also utilise the Lyall’s bicycles to explore the area of South Yarra.

From the airport by car, or taxi: Take CityLink Freeway turn off at SE Suburbs exit to King Street. Take King Street until it crosses St Kilda Road and becomes Toorak Road. Next intersection is Punt and Toorak, continue on Toorak and take third Street on left, which is Murphy Street. Lyall Hotel is number 14.By Train: Get off at South Yarra Train station - walk right when you come out of the station and Murphy Street is the second street on the right.
