Chef Anthony Musarra, fresh from the sister restaurant in Sydney has injected a dose of inspired Mediterranean charm into the menu here. Though the decor remains the same, you either love or hate it, the menu surges ahead with fresh interpretations. Musarra bases the menu with Italian roots, evident in dishes such as porcini custard with sauteed mushrooms, broad beans and toasted brioche, spaghettini with calabrese sausage, tomato, rocket, ligurian olives and salted ricotta. Local produce shines through, the slow-cooked Bangalow pork with crackling and quince puree is a must, as is the radii dessert plate for two.
