The Reynoldson Flora Reserve is renowned for the magnificent pink Verticordia which blooms during October and November.
By 1952, there was an increasing awareness in the need to preserve the unique wildflowers of the region. W C Reynoldson gave an area of land for a reserve and another five locations were identified for protection. This site was the one chosen, and was named in commemoration of Reynoldson.
