You’re greeted with a smile, and checked in to a warm, comfortable Hotel room. You’ve been given a Discount card to the Booma’s bistro and vouchers to the Panthers Club so you freshen up and head out for a lovely meal and a nice wine. Feeling pretty mellow and ready for a good nights sleep (after a small win on the pokies) you come home to the Classic Hotel, pop on the TV, make a lovely cup of coffee, slide in between the nice crisp white sheets and watch an Austar movie. You don’t make the end of the movie because this bed is so comfortable that you are asleep in minutes.

Next thing you know you are woken by a knock at the door and breakfast is being served. It can’t be that time already, you never over sleep. WOW, look at the size of Breakfast. 3 rashers of bacon (cooked to perfection), 2 pieces of toast, 2 eggs, a juice AND 2 little smilie faces. You make it nearly all the way through breakfast, enjoy a cup of Earl Grey tea and head for the shower.

Oh, thank goodness there is plenty of hot water, great water pressure and decent sized fluffy, towels. Another cup of coffee to make you ready for the day and you’re out the Hotel door and into the sunshine - feeling like you don’t want to leave yet. You could stand a few more days of this sort of Accommodation.

You make a mental note that next time, you are going to take a couple of days and enjoy the Hotel amenities (such as the pool, the spa, the BBQ pergola), have a look around the beautiful Murray River area and enjoy the Tastes of Rutherglen wineries.

How to get to Albury Classic Motor Inn
We are only 2 ½ kms off the Hume Freeway – lovely and quiet now that Albury has been bypassed by the Internal Freeway.
From the North (Southbound) – take the first exit which says “Davies Rd, JINDERA”, at the top of the offramp you will see a sign “Wagga Rd” (this is the old Hume Highway).
Follow this in and you will find us on your left hand side, 2 ½ kms after going through the first set of traffic lights.
From the South (Northbound) – take the forth exit which says “Racecourse Rd, LAVINGTON”. Turn left at the top of the off-ramp, turn right at the ‘T’ intersection into Dalinger
Rd. Take the 1st left into Vickers Rd, about 1km to the next ‘T’ intersection where you will turn left onto Wagga Rd. We are about 1km down from here on your left hand side.
We are 7-10 minutes North of the town center & train station. 5 minutes from the airport. We offer free pickup & dropoff from airport & train station (by prior arrangement with the management - time permitting) Our address is 404 Wagga Road (The Old Hume Highway), Lavington, (North Albury) If you're using a GPS - input Kaylock Rd intersection and you will find us about 1/2 a km North of where Kaylock crosses over Wagga Rd (the Old Hume Hwy if your GPS hasn't been updated since March 07)

Experience the Hume Weir and its history or a leisurely cruise on the Cumberoona Paddlesteamer. Visit our wonderful wineries and gourmet restaurants. Visit the Ettamogah Pub & Ettamogah Sanctuary. Snow Ski on Surrounding Slopes or water ski on the lake..PLENTY TO DO..
