How to get to Arajilla Retreat
600 kms. east of mainland Australia, less than two hours' flight northeast of Sydney, Arajilla is located on the 1,455 ha island of Lord Howe amid forest, mountains and lagoon.

Arajilla Retreat nestles within a beautiful Kentia Palm forest beneath towering Banyan trees at the sheltered northern end of the island, just minutes from the sparkling waters of Old Settlement Beach.

Out and About
Do as much or as little as you like!

Renowned for a leisurely pace, many come to Lord Howe Island to simply rest and recuperate on holiday. However, whenever the urge arises there is always an amazing array of activities to choose from.

If you are feeling competitive then the sports of golf, tennis and even lawn bowls are available. There is swimming or kayaking in the calm waters of the lagoon. With Lord Howe's World Heritage status, hiking through subtropical rainforest, climbing the imposing peaks of Mt. Gower and Mt. Eliza or diving and snorkelling the world’s most southern reefs is a fantastic way to experience nature at its best. There’s also great surfing, the thrill of sport fishing, and even the usual mode of transport on Lord Howe Island is fun, with bicycles freely available to all Arajilla guests.
