How to get to Baydreamer Hideaway |
|
The Baydreamer is centrally located at Salamander Bay in the Blue Water Paradise of Port Stephens, an easy 2 1/2 hour drive from Sydney CBD (about 200 kilometres) on the F3, or less than 50 minutes (60 kilometres) from the city of Newcastle.
Driving? From Sydney, take the F3 north to the Pacific Highway and follow signs for Hexham and Taree; cross the Hexham Bridge (Hunter River) and take the first turn on your right (called Tomago Road or Hwy# 122). Follow signs for Nelson Bay/Port Stephens (Hwy# 122 becomes Nelson Bay Road) about 30 to 40 minutes.
Exit left off Nelson Bay Road, onto Port Stephens Drive, and after 5 kilometres, turn right at the roundabout into Salamander Way. Baydreamer Hideaway is #135 on your left hand side. If you get to the shopping centre (Mobil petrol station), you've gone too far … just turn around at the next roundabout, and drive back about 1/2 a kilometre , the Baydreamer Hideaway is the first property on your right.
By coach from Sydney (departs Stand #14 at Central Station on Eddy Avenue)
