How to get to Bluegums Cabins
Not difficult, detailed directions will be sent to you. Tar road all the way to the gate. Dungog, 21 km south is on the main Sydney to Brisbane rail line & we can supply pick up & drop off service.

Out and About
Walk to Chichester Dam, only a km from your cabin.
Go for a swim at the salt water pool or nearby Chichester or Williams rivers. Have a game of tennis and thereafter a massage in the comfort of your cabin.
For the more adventurous, explore the subtropical rainforest with its native flora, flowing rivers and some great 2 & 4 WD drives & walks. Maps & brochures are in your cabin.
Go on the "Farm Gate Trail" to sample local produce, such as cheese, wine, olives, fresh perch and lavender products.
Enjoy delicious cuisine at the A La Carte licensed Restaurant next door *, country cafés in Dungog, Gresford, Morpeth, Gloucester and Stroud.
Soak up the views at Mt Allyn & lookouts in the Barrington Tops National Park.
Take a pleasant drive to the historic villages of Morpeth, Clarence Town, Stroud or Paterson.
Enjoy the wildlife. Feed the "pretty faced" wallabies, brush turkey and the native birds on your cabin's veranda.
Both Gresford and Stroud have boutique wineries, some with picnic facilities. Camyr Allyn wines Gresford, where John Evers will make you most welcome, have a resident Platypus at the river that has mostly forgoten it's a nocternal creature !
