Ballina Airport in New South Wales is a 25-30 minute drive south of Byron Bay. Virgin Blue, Jestar and Qantas fly daily jet services from Sydney and Melbourne; Rex (Regional Express) fly daily services from Sydney.
Coolangatta Airport, on the Gold Coast, is a 45-50 minute drive north of Byron Bay. Virgin Blue, Qantas and Jetstar fly services daily from Melbourne & Sydney.
Brisbane Domestic/International Airport is a 2 hour drive north of Byron Bay. All major airlines fly direct jet services daily.
