Catersfield House is a boutique Hunter Valley accommodation and wedding venue. Positioned amongst 7 acres of magnificent gardens and with views over the vineyards to the Brokenback Range, Catersfield House has one of the most enviable locations in the Hunter Valley.
This elegant and luxurious 8 Room Country House is designed to create a warm and welcoming ambience, giving a feeling of total relaxation. Guests enjoy a hot country breakfast each morning in the sunny Dining Room, and can have lunch or dinner in our Cafe Monteverdi.
Catersfield House is ideal for Weddings, Parties, Special Events and Executive Conferences. We have a glowing wood fire in the Guest’s Lounge, a baby Grand Piano in the Dining Room, salt-water swimming pool, Petanque (Boules) Terrain, fishing in the Lake and an in-house Masseuse. Catersfield also provides Gift Certificates.

As Catersfield House is centrally situated in Pokolbin, guests have easy access to wine and cheese tasting, winery tours, horse riding, bicycle hire, hot air ballooning, golf, horse and carriage rides, galleries and antique shops and fine dining.

Extra Guests are charged at a rate of $35 per person per night, including a full cooked breakfast. Children between the ages of 5 and 15 are charged at a rate of $20 per person per night, including a full cooked breakfast


How to get to Catersfield House
By Car: 2.5 hours from Sydney.
Follow the F3 (National 1) north from Sydney and take the Cessnock/Kurri Kurri turn off. At the township of Cessnock turn right into Vincent Street to the end, turn left & immediately right into Wine Country Drive. Pass the airport, turn left into Broke Road, follow Broke Road through the left/right "dog leg" at McDonalds Roads. Continue along Broke Road to Hermitage Road, turn right at Hermitage Road, then travel about 4 kilometres and turn left into Mistletoe Lane. Catersfield House is 1km on right.

1 hour from Newcastle:
Follow the New England Highway west from Newcastle and turn left into Hermitage Road at Belford (10 kilometres after Branxton). Mistletoe is 10 kilometres along Hermitage Road on the left.

By Train: Country Link services to Singleton
