Located on popular Hermitage Road, Pokolbin in the Hunter Valley Wine Country region, Kurrajong Vineyard provides comfortable 4 star accommodation in two self-contained cottages on the property, each featuring 2 bedrooms.

We also provide bed and breakfast accommodation in our Guest Suite in the homestead.

Our 25-acre Vineyard has 13 acres of vines, and includes plantings of Verdelho, Semillon, Shiraz, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon.

When visiting Hunter Valley Wine Country, why not stay on a working vineyard, stroll among the vines, relax with a bottle of fine wine made from grapes grown on the property.

Kurrajong is the ideal base for exploring Wine Country or for group gatherings at any of the major events such as Opera in the Vineyards, Jazz in the Vines and the many popular concerts held.

Cancellation Policy
All cancellations for this property forfeit the full amount for the first night cancelled.

Extra Guest / Children
Cabernet Cottage has a sofa lounge for the 5th and 6th persons; Merlot Cottage and Semillon Suite have a single fold-away bed for the 5th and 3rd person respectively. Extra persons are $30 per night, children 2 years to 15 years are $ 25.00 per night.


How to get to Kurrajong Vineyard and Cottages
From the New England Highway: between Singleton and Branxton turn onto Hermitage Road - Kurrajong Vineyard is 6 km on your right.
From Cessnock: follow signs towards the Wine Country Tourist Centre on Wine Country/Allandale Road, just after the Centre turn left onto Broke Road, continue on past The Hunter Valley Gardens, Harrigans Irish Pub to Hermitage Road on your right. Kurrajong Vineyard is about 6 km on your left down Hermitage Road. Refer to attached map. Closest main airport is at Williamtown, north of Newcastle.

Out and About
Fine food and wine abounds, balloon rides, horse riding, winery tours, golf, gardens, galleries. Visit wineries, chocolate and cheese making factories. Close to Lake Macquarie, Newcastle and Port Stevens, ideal for a wine country/sea side break.
