Recently renovated guesthouse in the world heritage blue mountains region. 40 Guest rooms all featuring ensuite, full reverse cycle air conditioning, tv, direct dial telephone with data port, fridge, ironing and tea and coffee facilities.

A hearty Mountains Breakfast is served in our dining room. Open from 7.30am-9.30am (Mon-Fri) and 7.30am-10am (Sat & Sun).

For dinner, take advantage of the many restaurants and cafes in Katoomba and nearby Leura. Our staff are happy to make suggestions and reservations on your behalf.

Enjoy a drink in the guest lounges, featuring original lead light windows and polished timber floors. Our 16th century French inspired Grand Ballroom is the perfect venue for any occassion.

How to get to Palais Royale
Follow the M4 motor way from sydney which becomes the Great Western Highway. Turn left at the traffic lights when you reach Katoomba and then left at the round about as you come over the bridge. Take the first right into Katoomba Street and follow the shops to the bottom of the street, then go straight through the crossroad of waratah and katoomba street and you will find us 3 buildings down on the left hand side.
If travelling by train alight at Katoomba railway station and then you can either catch a taxi or bus from the station to the hotel directly or you can walk straight dwon Katoomba Street to the hotel.

Enjoy the may local attractions including bushwalks, the three sisters and echo point, scenic railway and skyway, maxi vision giant screen cinema, jenolan caves, everglade gardens, and the many shops, cafes and restaurant and antique stores.

The hotel offers conference facilities to suit the laregst to most intimate of corporate events. Spoil your delegates in the surrounds of the grand ballroom, followed by drinks in the lounge. Packages and quotes avaiable upon request.
