Debbie and David Traynor and the team at Sapphire City Motor Inn welcomes you to Inverell. Recently refurbished, we offer 17 superbly appointed rooms ranging from double rooms (queen beds), twin and family rooms (one room can comfortably accommodate a family of six). We have two ‘easy access’ rooms to assist those who are not as mobile as they used to be. We also have a dedicated smoking room. Sapphire City Motor Inn is an AAA 3½ star rated property.

Ample on site parking is available with partial undercover parking available for most suites. We can cater for vans, trailers, small trucks and buses on-site. There is ample side street parking for larger vehicles adjacent to the motel.

We offer the option of a full or continental breakfast, as well as dinners to your suite seven days per week. Alternatively for dinner we have a charge back arrangement with some local restaurants and some even deliver to your door! There is even a park less than 100 metres away with picnic facilities so you can rest, relax, and let the kids run free or kick a ball.

Of course we offer the usual additional services such as: free Austar, free broadband, fax services and so on. Provided in each suite is an iron, ironing board, toaster, tea and coffee making facilities, reverse cycle air conditioning, electric blankets for the cooler months, and direct dial phones (can be enabled / disabled by reception). We can provide a limited number of microwaves and DVD players for your convenience.

Sapphire City Motor Inn is also the Inverell agent for Avis Car Rentals.....if you require a vehicle while in Inverell call us and find out what we can offer you. For guests flying into Inverell (via AeroPelican) we provide an airport collection service at limited cost.

Situated on Glen Innes Rd (for guests using GPS devices use 1 Greaves St) we are an easy walk to the Inverell shopping centre, local churches, and most sporting facilities. We also provide easy access to Maclean Village, making us an ideal place to stay when visiting family or friends at Maclean.

Sapphire City Motor In is also ideally located to provide access to the towns shopping centre, local attractions, such as; fossicking, Inverell Motor Museum, Heritage Village, wineries, Copeton Waters (one of Australia’s largest dams, offering a full range of water sports and bush walking) to name just a few. Inverell is also a great base for day trips to the New England highlands, the cotton fields of Narrabri, or the spa pools at Moree.
