Sawtell is one of the few seaside villages of the NSW north coast to have retained a quiet charm. Sawtell is bound to the east by protected, safe surf beaches, to the north and south by unspoiled waterways and National Park and to the west by scenic mountain ranges.

The Village, lined by 100-year-old fig trees, it is a delightful mix of cafés, restaurants, a restored Art Deco cinema and boutiques. Six kms north is the booming town of Coffs Harbour with its airport and many attractions for thrill seekers and serious shoppers.
