Shells on the Shore Holiday ’Apartments’ are clean, well presented and affordable. They are air-conditioned. The apartments are located just 200 meters from scenic Fingal Bay Beach.

Shells on the Shore Holiday ’Home’ is located in magnificent Shoal Bay. You can walk to Box Beach or Fingal Bay Beach. The brand new, 3 bedroom home will impress you with quality features including ducted air-conditing, cathedral ceilings, out door entertaining area with BBQ, sophisticated furnishings and superior spa bath. Linen is provided.

Shells on the Shore Holiday ’Apartments’ are attractively furnished, with spacious living areas, and an outdoor barbeque areas. The ’Possums’ apartment features ocean views, and Foxtel. ’Dolphins’ apartment is newly renovated, has Foxtel and has 3 bedrooms. Both apartments have everything you need for an enjoyable holiday; all you need to bring is linen.

Shells on the Shore is just 5 minutes away from Nelsons Bay, where the world renowned Dolphin and Whale watch cruises depart from.

We are a short walk from Fingal Bay Beach. Due to Fingal being a beautiful bay paradise, the southern arm offers sheltered, calm swimming waters and also a flagged surf area in front of the surf club. There is a kiosk, showers, toilets, kids play gym, large grassed area (bring your cricket bat), bike riding path, elec. BBQ area and picnic tables for everyone to enjoy.

How to get to Shells on the Shore Holiday Accommodation
We are just a 2 ½ hour, easy drive from Sydney. You can also catch a coach from many stops, departing from Sydney daily and it will take you right to our door. The airport is 30 mins drive and trains run to Newcastle on the hour.

From Sydney F3 Freeway north. At the end of the freeway turn right at the roundabout and left lane to cross Hexham Bridge. Turn right into Tomago Rd. and follow signs to Nelson Bay (town). Turn right into Victoria Pde. and follow to Shoal Bay Road. For the apartments continue on Shoal Bay road following signs to Fingal Bay. Take the first turn on the right at Fingal Bay ( Lentara Street ) and we are located a few doors along on the left hand side - its number 9!

The Holiday House is in Shoal Bay. Turn right onto Tomaree Rd and at a park ver left onto Garden Pl, Ocean Beach Rd is on the right. The property is number 33, Lot 2 (rear of block).

Out and About
Fingal Bay is a patrolled surf beach from which you can swim & surf or take a leisurely picturesque walk. There is a 4WD beach 10 mins away where you can sand board and visit Sygna Shipwreck. A wide variety of local tours are available including; Whale and Dolphin watching, quad bikes, wineries, horse and camel rides, sea kayaking, helicopter flights and 4WD dune Tours. There is an extensive range of sporting activities on offer including golf, fishing, bowls, toboggans, Olympic size local pool, national park walks, and bike riding paths. Indulge in the spectacular thrills or immures yourself in the crystal clear waterways of this paradise.

There is an abundance of eateries in which you can sample the deliciously fresh local seafood and relax at one of the delightful waterfront restaurants. Port Stephens is the Dolphin and Koala Capital of Australia. There is a large wildlife population in the area. The sand dunes, light houses and Tilligerry Peninsula are full of interesting history from early settlers and World War II relics.
