Tour buses will collect from reception by request, Jenolan Caves are just over an hours drive and tours depart daily.The railway station is 3 minutes walk and trains arrive from and leave for Sydney every hour.

How to get to St Elmo Heritage Motel

We are 700 metres straight down Katoomba Street from the Railway Station, on the left hand corner of the first cross Street. 2oo metres from the GPO.
FROM SYDNEY BY RAIL
Trains leave hourly from Central Station, (Strathfield for those comming from the North) and take 2 hours to travel to Katoomba.
FROM SYDNEY BY CAR
Head towards Parramatta/Blue Mountains and join M4 Freeway, this become Great Western Highway at Glenbrook and you follow this to Katoomba, turn left over railway bridge, left again at other side and right at the roundabout outside Railway Stationb\. We are at the bottom of Katoomba Street on the left hand corner of the first cross street.

Out and About

Among the World Famous attractions are the breathtaking Echo Point and Three Sisters, exiting Scenic World and the Southern Hemispheres biggest cinema screen at 'The Edge' Cinema, all of which are approx 10 min walk, 2 min drive from St Elmo.
Day tours, Double Decker and Trolley bus tours, walking, hiking, climbing, abseiling, mountain biking,horse riding,trout fishing, car hire, and 4 wheel drive tours can all be arranged by reception. Jenolan Caves, Mount Tomah, Penrith and Bathhurst are all within each reach by car. St Elmo is surrounded by restaurants, cafes, shops, galleries, antique and other interesting artisan shops.
