The Vineyards Estate is a small, 5 star luxury retreat set amidst the estate’s private vineyard.
Each spacious suite enjoys wonderful vineyard and mountain views and features a King Bed, private lounge area with wood burning Open Fire Place, Granite Ensuite with Spa Bath, Plus all guests receive a Complimentary Arrival Mini Bar with Bubbles, Boutique Local Beer, Deluxe ’make your own in room cocktails’ & Gourmet Treats!, Plasma TV with CD/DVD player.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE ARE NO FACILITIES FOR CHILDREN, THIS IS AN ADULTS ONLY RETREAT.


Leisurely breakfasts are a must at the vineyards country house. Your appetite will be teased with the aroma of freshly baked croissants and pastries and fresh espresso coffee.

Do nothing or do everything - the choice is yours. Recreational pursuits include a saltwater swimming pool, large outdoor spa, a full size tennis court, a unique golf 9 Hole Putting Course and relaxing vineyard walks. If you venture out, winery tours are available from your doorstep, hot air ballooning, galleries, antiques and wineries are a leisurely five to ten minute drive away.

At the end of the day enjoy a quiet glass of wine on the verandah watching the sunset then take a short stroll through the garden to dine at our World Class Vineyard Restaurant - open Wednesday to Sunday for dinner.

How to get to The Vineyards Estate at Pokolbin
Directions from Sydney and Central Coast
Coming from Sydney - Take the Cessnock, Kurri Kurri turnoff from the freeway.
Travel the 29 kilometres from the Freeway into Cessnock.
Turn right into Cessnock's main street, (Vincent Street).
At the end of Vincent Street turn left at the traffic lights
and then right into Wine Country Drive.
Travel some 7 kilometres along Wine Country Drive.
Be sure not to take the first VINEYARD SIGN turn to your right.
You will go past a new golf course on your right and the Cessnock airport
and Tourist Information Centre is on the left.
Just past the airport veer into the left lane and turn left into Broke Road.
Travel up Broke Road passing Hope Estate on your right,
turn left at McDonalds Road with a sharp turn right into Broke Road again.
You’ll see a sign Hunter Valley Garden Lodge on your left.
Travel along Broke Road some 5 kilometres and take the first turn
to your right into HERMITAGE ROAD.
The Vineyards estate is situated 7 kilometres
along Hermitage Road on the right.
We’re well sign posted and of a night well lit,
so you shouldn’t have too many problems finding us.
Remember, if you do get lost, and
we’ll guide you in the right direction.
