How to get to Victoria’s At Wategos | |
Directions from the North:
Travel south on the Pacific Highway (main road) from the Gold Coast Airport, following signs to Ballina. Approx. 35kms before Ballina you will see the Byron Bay turn off. Take this turn left from the Pacific Highway into Ewingsdale Road. Travel east along Ewingsdale road, about 6km, and you will arrive in the town. Continue through three roundabouts, heading towards the lighthouse. About 1.5kms from the town you will approach a 'Y' intersection, take the Wategos Beach turn off to the left. At the bottom of the hill, turn left into Marine Parade, first driveway on the right is us. Directions from the South:
Travel north along the Pacific Hwy. At Ballina, follow the Byron Bay signs that will take you along the coast road through Lennox Head to Byron aprox 30 minutes drive. Once in Byron Bay centre, follow signs to the light house. Travelling east, about 1.5kms from the town you will approach a 'Y' intersection, take the Wategos Beach turn off to the left. At the bottom of the hill, turn left into Marine Parade, first driveway on the right is us.

"Victoria's At Wategos" is only 100 metres from one of the most beautiful beaches in Australia, so surfing, fishing and sun bathing are virtually on the doorstep.
Only a short scenic walk to the top of the cape, is the stunning location of the Cape Byron Lighthouse, where you can hang glide, watch dolphins swimming in the turquoise sea, and during the Winter months experience whales migrating north to warmer waters.
Other activities not far from "Victoria's" include scuba diving, tennis, golf, lawn bowls, horse riding and sky diving. A leisurely walk along the beach, will bring you to the hub of Byron Bay, where you will discover many cafés and restaurants, galleries and gift shops.
