Wild Cave Tours offers guided caving trips at Mole Creek in north west Tasmania. Mole Creek is an hour’s drive (via Deloraine) from Devonport or Launceston (74 kilometres/46 miles). Wild Caves Tours offers a true wilderness experience. In a wild cave, you will not encounter concrete paths, fixed lights or steps, but you will find beautiful subterranean scenery and fascinating wildlife. You can cross an underground stream in a chamber lit by glow worms, or make your way through a more challenging honeycombed hill. Wild caves are closed to the general public and can be explored only with professional guides. Wild Cave Tours give you the chance to experience this extraordinary underground wilderness, led by skilled and experienced caving guides. Each tour has a maximum of 10 clients with a ratio of one guide to every five clients. Tours are structured according to your requirements and range from easy walking to moderately challenging passages with squeeze-throughs. Your exploration of a wild cave gives you opportunity for a peaceful nature experience, stunning photography, adventure, challenge and wet and muddy fun. Wild Cave Tours depart from Mole Creek and include all caving equipment, overalls, lights, environmental interpretation, photography advice and refreshments.
