The Richmond Campdraft is held at the Racecourse facilities provide camping and shower block, catering and entertainment. Competitors and spectators have free access to the lawn area around the grandstand for great viewing of the drafting from a cooler and shadier vantage point.
Campdrafting is for all the family, who can have a go whether you are four or 60 years old. There are approximately 950 runs over the two days, and the competitors coming from Mount Isa, Alpha, Winton, Townsville, Clermont and Normanton and many places in between, there are plenty of horse sports for all to sit and enjoy.
The evenings are catered for on site with bar, barbeque and entertainment.
