The bedroom located in the mezzanine has a beautiful balcony complete with day bed - push back the bi-fold doors and relax in your private world. Watch the sunsets over fishing boat harbour or if you feel like company, try a barbecue on our wonderful communal deck area - complete with Koi pond and waterwalls. Our apartments have been furnished with our guests' comfort in mind, soft neutral decor, original Aboriginal artwork and Scandinavian antiques. The bedroom has a king sized bed or (twin singles) with sumptuous wool and cotton bedding. For our guests who enjoy cooking or simply want the convenience of making tea and coffee, the gourmet kitchens are equipped with lots of extras. The generous bathrooms have a spa, fluffy white towels, hair dryers and fragrant organic shower gel. Of course each apartment has a full laundry including washer, dryer and ironing board.

As with all of our apartments the bedding is sumptuous with Australian woollen blankets, woollen underlays and a choice of feather or wool pillows.

    Only two minutes walk from Fremantle Town Center and 15 minutes from Perth city by car or train.


    Out and About
    Walk out in any direction from The Tannery and you will find a cafe, bar or restaurant. Try heading west to Fishing Boat harbour and enjoy fish and chips from famous restaurants. Take an early morning swim at South Fremantle, a twilight sail or head down to the cappuccino strip for action a plenty.

    The shopping in Fremantle is fantastic, books, clothes, surf wear and of course the bustling weekend markets. Walk to the train station or catch the free buses that run past every fifteen minutes.
