A series of developments in the 1970s has turned Armadale into a popular tourist attraction just outside Perth. The precinct boasts the History House Municipal Museum, Elizabethan Village and Pioneer World. Entry is free.
Situated beside the lake in Minnawarra Park, the History House Museum displays material pertaining to the economic, social and cultural history of Western Australia and the city of Armadale. Also, make sure you check out Armadale's first church and primary school, both have been relocated to Minnawarra Park.
The park includes a large lake, paved and shaded picnic areas, large lawn areas and a variety of water birds. There are public toilets.
