A home away from home. Safety Bay Guesthouse is also a bed and breakfast and offers a choice of three comfortable heated and ducted air conditioned rooms, all with television. Our guests share a spacious lounge/dining area complete with fridge, tea/coffee making facilities and a television/DVD surround sound entertainment system.
Outside is a lovely covered outdoor area with barbecue facilities and lounges to enjoy the sunsets. Other facilities include an indoor atrium for the cooler nights and a bathroom with separate shower and bath facilities.
Safety Bay Guesthouse (Bed and Breakfast) is located only 500 metres from the award winning Waikiki Beach and the Waikiki Hotel with its English Bar and Restaurant. Locally, the Rockingham area offers a wide range of water sports and ecotourism attractions including wind and kite surfing, swimming with the dolphins, the penguin and seal island glass bottom boat or snorkel cruises, exhibiting the wonders of reef marine life. Alternatively, if fishing is your thing, then you can fish for some Whiting or Herring from the beach or from one of the jetties in the area.
Rockingham City Shopping Centre is less than 10 minutes away. Hosting popular department stores and many specialty shops and cafes. Also, Rockingham foreshore has a lively cafe strip where you can sample fresh seafood and local Western Australian wines while enjoying the sparkling Indian Ocean.
Mandurah and the Peel region are only 20 minutes away from Safety Bay Guesthouse while Fremantle is 35 minutes and Perth 45 minutes away. If you want to enjoy the quiet green hills of Jarrahdale, not to mention the beautiful Millbrook Winery, then a 30 minute drive will take you there.
